Why would anyone give away something with real legal weight, for free?

A digital signature isn't free to build or run - identity verification and a legally solid audit trail cost real money on our side.

We've chosen to absorb that cost rather than pass it to your board, because we think a small housing association or a volunteer sports club shouldn't have to weigh up whether signing minutes properly is worth the money.

We built Komply because there's a real need for better digital board software.

Planning meetings, keeping proper records, and signing decisions that carry real legal weight - getting that right matters for every board, and it's exactly the kind of thing small organisations often can't justify paying for.

So we made the core of Komply free, for everyone, indefinitely.

Extended services

Where we do charge is for anything beyond the core platform — for example, if you want to integrate Komply into another system your organisation already uses, or you'd like hands-on help getting your board set up and trained. If that's what you need, reach out and we'll talk it through.

Here's what that covers.

"Unlimited" on the free plan means there's no cap on meetings, documents, storage or board members for the kind of use Komply is built for: one board (or a small group of related boards under one organisation) running its own meetings, keeping its own records, and signing its own documents.

It doesn't cover using one free account as shared infrastructure for many unrelated organisations, storing large volumes of files that aren't board documentation, or automated or bulk use that isn't a real board's meeting activity.

If your usage looks like one of these, we'll reach out before doing anything else. The goal is a quick conversation, not a surprise bill or a locked account.
